John,
Congratulations on making the counties. I just wanted you to know that I won't have another article for the A2Z website. I have written one for the boys and one for the girls for the first week back after the break but Ken has decided that he would rather not do more than stats and standings for now. I didn't want you to think that I forgotten or decided not to continue, as I had indicated to you that I would do one a week for the rest of the season. Anyway, nice bowling by the girls they deserve it for the time and effort they have put in.

Wow, what a great website. This is the first and only website I have seen for a High School bowling team. I am very impressed with the site and reading about the girls dedication to bowling. Obviously the parents are more than 100% behind their girls and it is good to see. The Dick Ritger camp was a great idea and the girls will improve dramatically I am sure. My son went their when he was 15 and came home and was a different bowler. His average jumped 20 pins the first season after camp, although it took him a few months after camp to apply everything he learned. If any of the girls seem to be struggling with their new found skills, tell them to stay with it, it will pay off in the long run. Within a year he had 2 perfect games to his credit and I know the camp made him more disciplined and dedictaed. Congrats on such a great website. The time put into the program and the website shows and both parents and bowlers should be commended. The Longwood girls are very lucky to have such a supportive group behind them. I checked out your links, and of course there are endless bowling links on the web, but if I may suggest you take a look at Susie Minshew's you might find it interesting. She is a super coach and particularly dedicates herself to girls and women. Another thing to keep in mind for the girls also is college scholarships. A number of schools have made womens bowling an NCAA sport and are offering some nice scholarship opportunities. There are also many non NCAA programs for women that have turned out some pretty fine bowlers over the years and some of them will offer scholarships or incentives to attend their school. Should you need info regarding college bowling scholarships check out Bowl.com collegiate section. Also many of the colleges have websites where they have recruitment forms and questionaires that can be completed. Don't let the girls miss these opportunities. If you need any specific info let me know I may be able to help you. Good luck and good bowling this season.

John and future lady professioinal bowling stars!

Hi Ladies, just wanted to say good luck this season. By the looks of it, you have all improved greatly. For those of you still struggling, keep your chin up. It will take time and hard work before things really get going. Remember, you don't get anywhere in life without a little hard work and dedication.

I hope you all enjoyed teh Thanksgiving holiday. I know I did. If I can be of any help, don't hesitate to write.

Best wishes and knock'em dead!

Kelly
